Bayardo Farm is a Caravan & Motorhome Club Certificated Location near Marlborough in Wiltshire, ideally placed for exploring the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Guests staying at our peaceful five-pitch CL site enjoy easy access to countryside walks and scenic cycling routes directly from the site.

Cycling

If you are looking for something close to site, West Woods has some lovely short routes. You could even head through to Lockeridge for a pub lunch at the ‘Who’da Thought It’ before returning either through the woods or by road.

For those of you keen to go a little further afield, why not try a cycle tour with New Forest Cycling Tours. They have put together a few options for our guests. Guests are also offered a discount (please get in touch for more information).

Walking and Countryside Routes

One of the greatest advantages of staying at Bayardo Farm is the ability to walk straight from your pitch into open countryside.

West Woods

Located beside the site, West Woods is well known for its ancient woodland, wide tracks, and seasonal bluebell displays in spring. It offers peaceful walking routes suitable for both short strolls and longer hikes.

North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

The surrounding landscape provides rolling chalk downland, quiet lanes, and panoramic views ideal for walkers and nature lovers. Many routes are dog-friendly and accessible directly from the local area.

If you are looking to walk The Ridgeway, as many of our guests have done, you can start this from Avebury.
